Outstation, Kemaman Port – Port Main Engine Replacement
Leelloyds was awarded the project for proposing the best solutions for the owner and submitted the best price with the shortest time for the projects.
Leelloyds Engineering & Trading managed to source a used engine of same type and model from our Middle East Trader contact.
We then dispatched an engineer to inspect the engine and confirmed the purchase.
The engine was stripped down to smaller components, inspected ABS certified, then packed in containers and shipped to our Singapore workshop.
The engine was rebuilt with new and/or reconditioned components, parts and overhauling kits under Class Surveyor, Underwriter and Owner’s Representatives in our workshop.
The engine then tested for deadslow ahead and astern starting and running test in our workshop.
Complete engine was stripped to accessible parts and transported by road to Kemaman Port, East Malaysia.
Leelloyds sent an engineer and a team of technicians to the vessel at Kemaman Port to rebuild and install the engine, connected all the system pipings , pneumatic and electrical system, sensor, alarm and remote air starting system from engine control room.
The overhauled engine thereafter commissioned and conducted Sea Trial to the satisfaction of Class Surveyor, Underwriter and owners Representative.
